Fastback Mustang Fireman Old master Barry and his team build another truly masterpiece…
Fastback Mustang wrecks fetch good money, and after negotiating the owner of this '69 classic down to $5400, Barry feels like he has gotten of to a good start with his restoration project. The right fender is a little worse for wear, but replacement part shouldn't be an issue. Barry plans on making his investment money in this project back in spades. The '69s interior won't look even close to the same after Barry and his crew restore this classic. With volunteer help from his friends at the Beverly Hills Fire Department, rusted panels are removed and the old interior is gutted to prepare the classic for paint. After a total cost of $3000, the overall body is ready for fire-engine red paint. With two weeks until the Kruse Auto Auction in Las Vegas, the 400-horsepower small block engine is in place. Body and paint man Todd Barton adds finishing touches to the Fastback--black old school graphics. Ready for the Kruse Auto Auction, Barry hopes to make enough on this Mustang to pay for his expenses on the '05 competition Mustang. The new '69 interior is clean as a whistle! Barry and designer Chris Brown's vision for this '69 is brought to life within four weeks.
